Petroterminal de Panamá (PTP) has completed improvements to the Rincón Sports Complex in the District of Gualaca, a project representing an investment of B/.38,135.00 that will benefit more than 350 children, youth, and adults in the community.

The project included the construction of new restrooms, a changing room, a shower, and a dugout; the installation of solar lighting and perimeter fencing around the bleachers; the installation of a new goalpost; and the provision of sports equipment. These improvements enhance a space used for sports, recreation, and community engagement.

According to UNESCO, access to safe, high-quality sports facilities fosters social inclusion, strengthens community cohesion, and supports the holistic development of children and young people, while also promoting healthy lifestyles.

Through this initiative, PTP contributes to strengthening community infrastructure in one of the areas where it operates, creating spaces that promote well-being and encourage community participation through sports.
