Petroterminal de Panamá (PTP) has launched the educational program “Leader in Me” (Líder en Mí) through the “Leading Schools for Panama” initiative, in partnership with Franklin Covey Education. This initiative will be implemented by the consulting firm Greatness Center and is designed to strengthen leadership skills, school culture, and academic performance in institutions located within the areas of influence of PTP’s operations.

The project will be carried out at the Rambala Educational Center in Chiriquí Grande; the San Vicente Bilingual School in Barú; and the CEBG Valle de la Mina in Gualaca. It will directly benefit 639 students and reach a total of 1,043 members of the educational communities, including students, teachers, and administrative staff. The total investment amounts to B/. 90,714.60 for the 2026–2029 period.

The launch event was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Education (MEDUCA), principals of the participating schools, strategic partners involved in the project, and PTP staff, who were informed about the scope of the initiative and its implementation plan.

“Leading Schools for Panama: Leader in Me” is part of PTP’s Corporate Social Responsibility program focused on community development. Through this initiative, the company aims to strengthen leadership competencies and life skills among children and youth, promoting educational environments that support their holistic development and prepare them to face future challenges.
