PTP Helps Improve School Facilities for Children’s Well-Being and Learning

Petroterminal de Panamá (PTP) carried out improvements to the cafeterias at La Lomita School in Chiriquí Grande and Miramar School in Bocas del Toro through a joint investment of B/.6,695.00, aimed at enhancing the conditions of the spaces where students eat their meals every day.

The work included the installation of a new PVC ceiling at La Lomita School and the replacement of flooring in the Miramar School cafeteria, benefiting more than 300 people, including students, teachers, parents, and members of both school communities.

According to UNICEF, schools play a fundamental role in promoting good nutrition and creating environments that support learning, as appropriate dining spaces contribute to the well-being and holistic development of children.

Through initiatives like this, PTP continues to support the strengthening of educational infrastructure in communities near its operations, promoting safer and more suitable spaces for children’s development.
