PETROTERMINAL DE PANAMÁ, S.A. PROMOTES TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION IN YOUNG PEOPLE OF BARÚ

Petroterminal de Panamá, S.A. participated in the Technological Innovation Fair in Barú together with SENACYT and the Ministry of Education, held at the San Antonio de Padua Fair in Puerto Armuelles. The initiative highlighted the technological knowledge of the schools of school circuit N°5, promoting the active practice of technology in the district.
Davis Sanjur, teacher at the Baco Multigrade Pre-Middle School and SENACYT liaison, expressed the importance of the company’s participation in this type of initiative: “The activity that took place had a very positive impact for all the students who are part of the schools of Circuit No. 5 in the district of Baru. We thank Petroterminal de Panamá, S.A. for the economic and logistical support for the organization of this fair where the participants were able to show their knowledge about block programming, virtual reality and robotics. We hope that this project will encourage more schools and that our children will have the technological facilities that will open the doors to the modern future where technologies are part of our reality”.
With a total investment of B/.2,347.24, Petroterminal de Panamá, S.A. benefited 150 participants, supporting the successful execution of the fair by facilitating the use of its stand at the San Antonio de Padua Fairgrounds, the adaptation of the stage and satellite internet connections. In addition, the company contributed with a donation of souvenirs for 150 students, providing an environment conducive to learning and technological inspiration.
