At Petroterminal de Panama, S.A., Corporative Social Responsibility Program is an appropriate mechanism to accomplish a balance between economic growth, collective welfare, rational use of natural resources and environmental harmony.

We believe in Sustainable Development, meaning, those capable of satisfying everyday needs without compromising the resources and possibilities of future generations.

PTP is constantly adapting to new regulations and trends, making environmentally sustainable activities, while carrying out its new objectives with the help of our partners and community.

Among the actions taken can be mentioned: training development, lectures and seminars on safety, health and environmental aspects, not only on behalf of PTP employees, but also, for the community where business activities are carried out.

It includes aspects such as the rational use of resources in all our operations, reduction of consumption and waste reduction in our operations.

We recognize that a truly implemented Environmental Policy is vital for the development of society?s life quality in general. For this reason, we are committed to conducting all our activities in a social and environmentally responsible manner.

Education is one of our pillars Corporate Social Responsibility Program.  Therefore, we provide educational assistance through the PTP Scholarship Program to teenagers with outstanding academic achievements in high school and university levels.

With this same goal, we invest in new skills through human resource training which gives personal and collective benefits to the community because with this new acquired knowledge the participants represent an alternative to communities located near our facilities.
